- February 24 - Special Call meeting for Las Animas City Council - 5pm at City Hall Council Chambers - Possible approval of dispatch services for LAPD. All meetings (excluding executive sessions) are open to the public and everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.
March 2026
- March 1 - The new Las Animas Police Department begins full patrol of Las Animas
- March 10 - City Council, Public Works and Light and Power Meetings
