- August 22 - Community Gathering and Dance at LA/BC Senior Opportunity Center - 701 Park Avenue, Las Animas. Dance from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. All are welcome and invited.
- August 29 - Work Session for Las Animas City Council - Council Chambers
- August 29 - Public Hearing on a local liquor license - Council Chambers
September 2025
- September 1 - City Hall closed for Labor Day
- September 9 - Light and Power, Public Works and City Council Monthly meetings beginning at 5:30 pm in Council Chambers at City Hall
- September 15 - Law Enforcement Committee meeting at the Sheriff’s Department at 5:00 pm. Public is invited.
- September 19 - Community Gathering and Dance at LA/BC Senior Opportunity Center - 701 Park Avenue, Las Animas. Dance from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. All are welcome and invited.
